Fischer's Wrestling Academy
Our training facility comprises 3,000 square feet of work out space and over 1,600 square feet of mat area.
Our specific location was chosen for the appeal of being able to wrestle with low ceilings, padded walls and a combative type of environment.
Our wrestling training will consist of practices Monday through Friday for individual work outs.
There is no other wrestling facility in GA where a Two Time Division 1 All-American coaches.
Sundays will be team wrestling day lead by Coach Fischer. Teams (only) can schedule in advance for Sunday work outs.
Philosophy
My mission is to produce wrestlers that know how to attack and break down there opponent. I believe in the importance of pushing yourself to success, but I also understand the importance of training a wrestlers mind to overcome the obstacles that prevent success.
For any wrestler to be successful, they need to understand how to wrestle, so I not only train hard, but break down the technique and training so a wrestler has to ask questions as to why something works.
I want to create wrestlers who love to train and love to learn.
I work on developing a wrestling style that promotes the fun our sport can be about, because if you don't have fun you won't want to compete.
I work on showing the athletes that train with me that I care about them and am excited for their success.
I want to build young wrestlers who have the desire and commitment to achieve at the Olympic level. To succeed you have to aim high.
Being a wrestler who excelled at the highest of levels in the sport, I am driven to see young wrestlers succeed and know how to train and practice for that success.
